Israel’s Ground Invasion In Syria

Israel Arrests A Syrian National With Ties To Iran During Ground Raid On Syria

IDF did not specify the exact time of the seizure but claimed it was part of a unique operation that happened in recent months. Although Syria did not immediately corroborate the news, pro-government Syrian radio station Sham FM said on Sunday that Israeli forces had targeted a man in the country’s south during a summertime kidnapping operation.

Israel has been intensifying their bombardment campaign in Lebanon for the past six weeks and launching a ground invasion along their shared border.

The individual was named by the army as Ali Soleiman al-Assi, who resides in the Saida district of southern Syria. The man was allegedly involved in Iranian operations that targeted parts of the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights close to the Syrian border and had been under military monitoring for several months.
The army published body camera footage of the operation, which showed soldiers capturing a man inside a building wearing a white tank top. The military claimed the man was taken to Israel for questioning.

Benjamin Netanyahu stated that his main goal was to prevent Hezbollah from being rearmed by using the “oxygen lifeline” of Iranian weapons that were sent to Lebanon through Syria.

Kamala Harris recognized progressives and the state’s sizable Arab American population on the U.S. presidential campaign trail this weekend who are upset with the Biden administration for maintaining the U.S. alliance with Israel while the Netanyahu administration continues its war against Hamas in Gaza. She stated that I have made it quite evident that the number of innocent Palestinian deaths is intolerable.

Harris addressed the matter in East Lansing, Michigan. In her capacity as president, she will make every effort to put an end to the conflict in Gaza, send the hostages home, alleviate the suffering there, guarantee Israel’s security, and enable the Palestinian people to exercise their right to freedom and dignity.
